Canon PhotoMarathon is a theme-based photo competition open to all photographers, storytellers and creators.
Race against the clock in a battle of wits and creativity for the crown. With the unveiling of each theme every 2 hours, it's up to you to hunt down unique perspectives anywhere to express your interpretation of the theme.
Just make sure to submit your photo before the next theme is revealed.

About PhotoMarathon 2025
An ambitious community that supports creators
Since its inception in Singapore in 2003, the Canon PhotoMarathon has evolved into a marquee event for photo enthusiasts across Asia.
Whether you have captured terabytes of images or are beginning your journey in content creation, everyone starts on equal footing as the competition themes will only be revealed on the day of the event.
Canon PhotoMarathon promises a dynamic and thrilling experience, challenging participants to think on their feet and push their creative boundaries.

Open Category
Open to all participants above the age of 12.
Student Category
Open to participants studying in an MOE-certified school as of 19 July 2025.
All winners in the Student Category will need to provide proof of student status. Students may choose to register for the Open Category if they wish.

MARK TEO
Mark’s interest in extreme sports has honed his skills in action sports photography. His photography aims to reveal the personalities and stories behind each athlete. His portfolio spans a plethora of clients from commercial work for global brands like Nike, Reebok, and OCBC Bank to hybrid projects for the likes of Land Rover, Lululemon, and Silverkris for Singapore Airlines.

No refunds will be given for non-participation.
Participants are welcome to submit entries for as many themes as they wish. Winners will be judged, and prizes awarded based on each individual theme.
